Trim
Standard binding around the body, fretboard, and headstock consists of tortoise shell colored binding flanking a thin maple strip. In addition, either a fine pattern herringbone or a D18 style trim is used for the top purfling and soundhole rosette.

The picgaurd is made from "Tortis", an extremely realistic synthetic tortoise shell.

Herringbone is only standard on rosweood guitars.
