Finish

Guitars are finished with a water-based lacquer specifically developed for musical instruments. The finish offers the additional advantages of being non-toxic, environmentally friendly, less prone to cracking under rapid temperature changes, and a much thinner final finish thickness, giving the guitar a more vintage look than most regular lacquers. The necks are generally finished with the water based lacquer, then the playing part of the neck is rubbed to a satin finish, creating a smooth and worn in feel.
